Human workshop

As humans, we are equipped to
lead both an inner and outer life. When these two are
harmonious, they become one, so that our outer actions,
thoughts and feelings are guided by our inner Self. This is
the essence of being human.
In our busy and oft
distracted lives we may wonder why our lives do not measure
up to our wishes or expectations and why we often repeat
similar behaviours, unable to make real and lasting
changes, or that we seem to have fallen into a rut or mode
of ill health that we have difficulty extricating ourselves
from.
You will be
introduced into this powerful, experiential workshop and
discover elements of yourself which will explain why we say
something and yet do something else, why we always seem to
repeat similar behaviours or destructive habits.
The work is based on an understanding that we are composed
of various elements that echo and mirror elements from the
different realms, our collective evolutionary history and
of course inherited and familial patterns. The model
explained and your experience of it, is from sources that
include Neoplatonic, Kaballistic and Ibn Al Arabi's
exegesis that was adopted into Sufi theology, coupled with
a modern interpretation through the physics of a quanta
based understanding, gives us a framework to understand
who, what and why in reference to our own selves and how we
function.
Just as our external world is composed of material,
vegetative and animal elements, we too as humans contain
these same elements within us. These are contained within
our own material self or body, and as such, contain energy
which, when influencing us, act as a force. These elements
are carried by particular and specific carriers which
provide for all that we are, and which carry within them
the source of what we might call our innate, intuitive,
instinctual and internal knowing. When something — a
genetic predisposition, a feeling, a habit, or a belief —
takes power or influences us, whether positively or
negatively, it exerts a force, and these may support us or
act to topple, disorganize, disrupt and generally make us
slave or under the influence of these same elements.
We invite you to
join us on a journey that can lead to a wider and deeper
understanding of the forces that shape your life. You will
begin to recognize your own unique ontology – the sequence
of events that has brought you to your present state.
Drawing from experiences, both from within the workshop and
our daily lives, we will to see the action of the various
forces and how they affect our behavior, instincts, beliefs
and identity. The Being Human workshop will
enable you to:
• Recognize the
forces that impact your life
• Adopt a new
language and understanding of these elements to help you in
life, relationships and health
• Use this
understanding for yourself, family and friends as well as
in your working life
• Make peace and
reconcile with your and others past history
• Discover the five
essential qualities that facilitate change
• Enhance and
enrich your relationships – with the Divine, with partners,
with one's children and with others.
• Find meaning,
value and joy in everyday life, and the sense of your
pupose
• Begin to live a
parallel inner and outer life
