September 2010 - part 4 (see notes below as to content)

Solihin Thom, the developer of Cranial Fluid Dynamics, will be on-hand over the last 2 days of the series. He will participate with Beata and Tomas, and will be adding in tidbits and examples from his own experience during the class. The class will be conducted by both the teachers, with Solihin providing extra information where relevant.

This weekend will help cement your understanding of the complete work; providing an integral view of the forces that we as humans carry, and how these variant forces affect our wellbeing. This fourth class is perhaps the most important, and yet the least understood. Most other models or variants of cranial work concentrate on the fluid body and rhythms of the mechanism, mediating, by placing into balance the rhythms, allowing the stillness to reacquaint itself within the system. CFD however, with this fourth workshop, helps us understand how our neurological architecture holds onto the ideas, beliefs, concepts, maps, philosophies that we create, listen or adhere to, borrow, have placed upon us and may then alter the internal structure of the ventricles and neural movement. By understanding the human mind we then can understand how our neocortex and sub architectural nuclei all contribute to altered symmetry, function and balance. Furthermore, in this workshop you will begin to use the whole of the work as an integral deep, sophisticated dynamic dialogue which will truly let you understand the internal story of the human you work with.

In the 4 modules of this series you will learn:

1. The human template: an understanding of the hierarchical and ordered internal structure of the human organism.

2. The Caduceus: an iconographic and feedback representation of inner and outer health modeled by the display of the various cranial rhythm(s).

3. The four underlying rhythms (and their variances) of the cranial system [and the classical cranial rhythm or CRI] that are the discordant 'voices' of a disorganized organism.

4. The understanding and ability to palpate each rhythm as a palpatory expression of a different carrier waveform or frequency, and allow, without will, force, intent or manipulation, the organism to find its own health and resolution.

5. A non verbal dialogue protocol using kinesiology [a neurosomatic and kinetic feedback mechanism] and mudras [a gesture or proto-language] that allow you to listen and understand the client's story underlying their aberrant patterns.

6. The understanding and ability to 'name' each carrier force and the ability to 'know' the underlying story that is carried within the organism [the human ] that creates the dysfunctional state.

7. An ontological [root cause] and functional understanding to why the 'client' is in a state of survival rather than manifesting as 'being'.

The 4 modules cover the following:

CFDmaterialIconModule 1 – Foundation of the work – human template, the function and internal understanding of the Caduceus as a symbol or metaphor of the function of human dynamics and health. An introduction to kinesiology and mudras, the forces or carrier waves, the five rhythms. The module primarily focuses on our structural elements [bony skeleton] that 'carry' dissident and archetypal signals from our genome that both support and thwart who we are, and also our reptilian or primitive survival 'switches' that turn off and on our basic reflex mechanisms, and influences that we carry from our ancestors - held within our reptilian brain stem and which echo miasmic constitutional patterns.

CFDvegetalIconModule 2 – The ANS [autonomic nervous system] and midbrain which are biased and patterned after our phylogenetic history. These neurological elements support us physiologically by receiving sensory input, through the manufacture of 'fields' of sensory data. These act as a warning or alert [alarms] to both our internal or external environment. These fields are held by our plexi or chakras [accumulation centers] and affect our emotions, how we feel, how we act and how we think. This module covers the framework of 'time' as a field which can hold us in the past - in moments gone, in our uterine environment or ancestral code - we become locked into old historic fields of information. You will learn how to read and decipher the emotional history that our clients carry within.

CFDAnimaliconModule 3 – Mammalian, limbic and old smell brain in conjunction with our peripheral nervous system is covered in this module as you explore the dynamics of conception, gestation [in utero], birth and the development of our senses, gender and mammalian or instinctual self. The animal self is our capacity to play, work, move and act, and carries with it our identity as to gender and sexuality. You will learn of the subtle influences that alter our dura, fascia, muscles and locomotive / gait mechanisms.

CFDhumaniconModule 4 – Neocortical functioning as expressed in our humanity is covered, as we explore the underlying human processes that alter cerebral hemispheric, midbrain, medulla and brain stem architectural elements of our internal [ventricular elements] brain. The human life force or carrier wave carries the variant and differing instructions that manifest as our personal expression of how it is to be human. These instructions, often unknown to us, alter our mindfulness and humanity; you will learn of the many factors that underpin a complete and noble expression of human life.

These modules will prepare you to be present: that is to notice infinitesimal change in internal state, manner or dynamic of the client, to be aware - be receptive to the sensate state within the client, yourself or the environment, to be attentive - to the posture, stance, defense or habitual patterns that may obfuscate or hide patterns within the client (or your self) and finally to be mindful of human patterns and beliefs, and cleverness. In this way you will gradually develop a humanity capable of being fully conscious.

"I leave this workshop with gratitude and appreciation for all of you, all of us, myself and especially the wisdom of this work" – DB, Tucson.
"After taking the intro class I had the desire to learn and understand more; I have now experienced the power of the work" EW, Portland
